About The Instructor

           

Adam Brown

Adam Brown is currently employed in the Law Enforcement field where he has spent several years. Prior to that he worked as a Correctional Officer at a Florida State Correctional facility. He also served in the U.S. Army for a little over 9 years, where he first learned to shoot and discovered his passion for firearms. During his time in the military he deployed twice, once to Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn and once to Guantanamo Bay Cuba in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

After leaving the military he worked as a Loss Prevention Associate part time while going to school and eventually attaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University. He also serves as a General Topics Instructor and First Aid Instructor at in his current Law Enforcement position. Prior to joining the military he was in JROTC all 4 years of High School, logging well over 1,000 hours of community service. Serving the community has always been Adam’s number one priority.

Prior to becoming a NRA Certified Instructor & USCCA Instructor he competed in USPSA and Steel Challenge Competitions at his local gun club and has even placed and won a few awards. Pistol shooting is his area of expertise although he does know a thing or two about rifles and shotguns. Adam’s primary goal is to get as many people certified to Conceal Carry as possible and to make the community a safer place to live through his education and training courses….. Remember, an armed society is a safe society. His other hobbies include camping, hiking, kayaking, fishing, going to the beach and spending time with family.
